Description
Why use fuel tank foam?
To cut a long story short the foam prevents fuel from sloshing around in turns, acceleration or declaration etc. Fuel sloshing has a negative affect on your vehicle's handling.
FACTS:
1. The fuel sloshing in your tank causes the weight to shift and you may experience weight up to 3 times heavier than the actual weight.
2. Fuel tank foam contains thousands of tiny pores that stabilise fuel sloshing in the tank. The foam is so porous that it only takes up 1-2% of the total tank volume.
3. Fuel tank foam has a long lifespan of over 10 years, so maintenance is minimal.
Contains 99 pcs 5x5 cm cubes (approx. 12.5L foam).
NOTE! The foam is specially cut to ensure that it is particle-free. Nevertheless, you should first vacuum the cubes and then wash them in petrol, BEFORE putting them in the tank.
