Description
Micro Switch for Brembo master cylinders (also on RCS), 12mm mounting, Normally Closed.
The switch removed from the master cylinder, then as it is, leaves the circuit CLOSED.
When mounted on the master cylinder, however, the circuit is normally open because the lever, as it is, press the switch holding open the circuit; by (braking) pressing the lever the switch goes back to its normal position and closes the circuit turning on the stop light.
This switch can not replace switches that work "normally closed" when they are fitted on the master cylinder (or "normally open" removed from the pump), such as those used by BMW.
This switch is the switch that comes with RCS brake master cylinders, it is not an alternative switch, it is just a replacement part as stock.
